Treatments will always consist of a consultation/ review, application of Bowen technique and a discussion regarding aftercare. This will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Although there is no hard and fast rule, most people have experienced a significant difference to their symptoms within 3-4 treatments. This is usually enough work to restore health but some may require more or even on going treatments for long term health issues.
All of this will be discussed thoroughly on your first appointment so all clients are fully aware of the time scales involved.
All treatments are given through light clothing. Leggings, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, t-shirts and vest tops are all ideal. Client comfort is important.
At the Huddersfield clinic all fees are charged per treatment at £30.00.
Pricing at satellite clinics will vary in accordance with overheads.
Bowen is safe and beneficial for everyone. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
It is recommended that Bowen is not used alongside other complementary therapies at least 7 days before or after treatment as this may interfere with the outcome by overloading the body.
The application of the Bowen Technique is a holistic, remedial form of bodywork; therefore the whole person is treated rather than a specific condition. It is effective at relieving or resolving an array of musculoskeletal, mental/emotional, organic, neurological and reproductive problems. Free parking is available at the clinic simply turn off Barnsley road (A635) and park on the drive way or free on-street parking is available directly outside the clinic.
